Context
3MG operated across workforce training, placement, apprenticeship, and outsourcing-related services. The marketing function had to support multiple audiences and business lines while the team itself was still developing.
My role
I led the marketing department while the team grew from three people to a larger multi-function unit covering digital marketing, content, administration, social media, video, and IT support.
Selected results
Other outcomes included approximately 400 LinkedIn followers added in three months, page-one SEO visibility, a high-performing organic TikTok video reaching more than 136,000 views, and workflow digitalization that improved efficiency.
What changed
The important shift was moving from disconnected posting to a clearer operating system: role ownership, publishing cadence, performance targets, lead handling, reporting, and tighter coordination between marketing activity and business needs.
Leadership lesson
Small teams force a manager to be both generalist and specialist. I had to understand enough of content, ads, SEO, analytics, design workflow, and operations to make decisions—while still learning when to delegate and let people own their craft.
